Malindo Air has started operations Malindo Air is a Malaysian-Indonesian airline founded in September 2012 by Lion Air (Indonesia) and NADI (Malaysia). The airline was granted their operating permits earlier this year. Shortly after, they started operations on flights between Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, all in Malaysia.

This small airline used to be known as IAT, but has gone through a complete reformation since the take-over by the MNC Group. The airline has purchased new planes and offers attractive routes.

Improvement to website speed and accesibility In recent weeks and months more and more problems showed up with the speed and the availability of several websites in our network, among them indahnesia.com and ticketindonesia.info. Because these problems grew larger - partly because our websites are more frequently visited nowadays - something had to be done about this really fast.

Flying Merpati Nusantara? Are you sure? Figures from ticketindonesia.info show that the airline with the most canceled flights in their name is Merpati Nusantara. This Indonesian state-owned company, also partially owned by Garuda Indonesia, seems to have a peculiar way of conducting business; selling tickets, canceling flights and then wait for months to pay back the money paid for tickets on those canceled flight. At least it seems that way.

Fly to the orang utans with Trigana Air Trigana Air, as a relatively small player on the Indonesian market, offers a number of increasingly popular destinations. These destinations can not be reached with large aircraft, so Trigana Air fills this gap in the market with smaller ATR planes. They are focussed on the island of Kalimantan.

Lion Air adds many new flights and routes The Indonesian airline Lion Air is currently working hard to expand it's already large network. During the month of May, four new routes will be opened while 18 existing routes will see their frequencies increased from today's levels. Expansion of their network can be noticed throughout the country.

Fly to Hong Kong, Kuching and Riyadh! Ticket website ticketindonesia.info has added three new destinations on ticketindonesia.info. You can now fly from and to Hong Kong from Jakarta with Lion Air and AirAsia, and AirAsia also flies from Medan to Hong Kong. Kuching (Malaysia) has a direct flight to Pontianak and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) can be reached from Jakarta by Batavia Air.

Visitors of the website that are looking for tickets for domestic flights or a regional flight in Southeast Asia will now be presented real prices of tickets as well.

Many transit flights Lion Air added at ticketindonesia.info We have added several thousand transit flights from Lion Air to our website. This makes it possible for travelers to make reservations for the more exotic destinations in Indonesia with just one reservation. Easier to handle and also money-saving because only one reservaion has to be made. Who doesn't like that!

Sriwijaya Air e-tickets available on ticketindonesia.info Starting today, e-tickets from the Indonesian airliner Sriwijaya Air are available for reservation on ticketindonesia.info. The several dozen destinations of the airline, with in general very attractive prices, have been added to the search function and can be booked quick and easy just like the nine other airlines already available on this website.

We are moving In the coming week until early July, we will move the following websites to a new server with the same hosting provider: indahnesia.com, indonesiepagina.nl, kamus-online.com and ticketindonesia.info. We are doing this to prevent growing pains from becoming visible like they did earlier this year and avoid these in the future as well.

Batavia Air opens new routes Indonesian airline Batavia Air has started services of a number of new routes in recent weeks. These routes are mainly domestic flights but the airline also created a direct air link between Pontianak and Singapore on three days a week. These flights were added after requests from passengers and can now be booked online via ticketindonesia.info.

This was in the picture! #22 To this very day, every morning there are floating markets in Banjarmasin in which farmers and traders brought their goods to trade on boats. It has always been a farmersí market and itís interesting to see the genuine river-based way of life. The rivers are also the main venues for boat races and other festivities. The main attractions are the waterlogged suburbs traversed by canals; much of the city's commerce takes place on water. Get there early to enjoy most of it.

More flights available on ticketindonesia.info Starting today, some 1,000 flights more are available for booking via the website ticketindonesia.info. On this website, you can book tickets for domestic flights against the price set by airlines, enabling you to plan your travels across the archipelago. After an update, some 1,000 flights of Garuda Indonesia have been added. Most of them are flights with one transit.

This was in the picture! #20 Magic mushrooms are sold on the small islands northwest of Lombok, better known as the Gili's, and you will find them everywhere nowadays. Officially seen as drugs, they can be purchased and sold freely here in one way or another. But these products of nature should be treated as such; don't bring them off the island and don't bring them across borders.
