Higher alert-status for Anak Ranakah volcano on Flores The Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics Agency BMKG has announced that it has raised the alert status for the Anak Ranakah volcano in the district of Manggarai on the island of Flores in southeastern Indonesia. The status is now two out of scale of four. The 2,247 meter high volcano almost continuously emits a small plume of white smoke, but now the activity inside the volcano has also increased.
