Smoke from burning factory Cileungsi visible It is a nice and clear Monday morning with some slight cloud cover along the skies. Nothing special to be seen from the window on the first floor. However, there is something strange actually. In the first place it looks just like a cloud hovering above the earths surface at low altitude, but it originates from a vertical column. Smoke. And where there is smoke, there is fire indeed.

President Medvedev shows off with 'Bhinneka Tunggal Ika'-coin What does the Indonesian government know what we don't know (yet)? When surfing on the internet I found a small article on the website of Bloomberg stating that Russian President Medvedev was showing off a coin which is said to be a possible future release. Normally those kind of 'news articles' do only make it as far as internet back-rooms where you can gossip about the upcoming New World Order and things related to that. Sometimes funny to read, but to take it seriously? No, nothing for me.

Indonesia Bisa! They stole my motorbike already It was just my second night in my new neighborhood of Lippo Cikarang when I woke up and found out that something was wrong. As I was preparing to go to Jakarta by bus - a one hour drive to Komdak bus shelter - I wanted to get my motorbike from the parking space which is fenced off with an iron fence. I wanted to get the key first, but no key at the place where it should be. And then; no motorbike there. Oops, what had gone wrong and where is the thing?

There she is, the Indonesian Playboy However I have been asked for it several times before, I didn't own my very own Indonesian version of the very well-known magazine for the male part of the population. Until today, because I happen to run into a brand new one today, partially hidden behind other well-known names like FHM, Cosmo and Maxim. Directly I picked the dark-colored cover with gold-colored print from the top shelf. The beautifully thick glossy cover has been sealed in a thin plastic cover; if you want to see inside you first have to pay 50.000 Rupiah for it. Free is not for Playboy, you can pick any other magazine with a more 'modest' cover; a women just as pretty as the one in Playboy, but then wearing a Jilbab to cover her long black hair.
