This was in the picture! #17 The beach of Kuta on Lombok. This beach in the southern part of the island - just like in Bali - is one of the most well-known beaches of the island. It is a nice white sand beach, but the sand is larger in size than that of the southern beaches in Bali. A project to develop this region into another tourist destination failed to materialize, which leaves this area only with a Holiday Inn hotel and houses of local residents. It is a completely different world than the Kuta some 150 kilometers away.
