"The condition of our museums is concerning. 90% are not well managed and are unfit to visit," says Wacik. Barnabas Suebu named Papua governor Barnabas Suebu was officially named the winner of Papua's direct gubernatorial election following a 10-hour plenary session of the provincial General Elections Commission (KPUD) on Monday. In the March 10 election, former governor Barnabas and his running mate, Golkar Party legislator Alexander Hessegem, garnered 354,763 of the over 1.1 million valid votes. Over 17,000 votes were declared invalid and thrown out.

Well don’t get scared or shocked after having a look at the pictures above because that’s not pics from Iraq, Somalia, Palestine or even Aceh. But from my most favorite military enthusiast club Code 4 where I myself am a member – a club that is very different from any sports club. A sport where one can almost feel the hardship, experience of a true fighting soldier in a fun simulated war situation.

Rupiah drops to fresh low at year-end Bank Indonesia announced on Friday its year-end buy/sell rate of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar at Rp 9,095/10,095 as the local unit dropped to a fresh low of Rp 9,575 in offshore markets. The domestic financial markets have been closed for the year-end holidays since early this week, but Bank Indonesia announced the buy/sell rate to help the public and business sector conduct transactions.
