Mandala Air to fly again from April 4, 2012 The Indonesian minister of Transportation has handed over the flight permissions, or air operator certificate AOC to the managers of Mandala Airlines. This just happened recently although the document was already signed on February 20, 2012. The airline will resume flights on April 4, starting with three Airbus 320 planes.

Five killed in terror raids in Bali Indonesian counter-terrorism forces have shot dead five suspected militants believed to have been planning a series of attacks in Bali. Heavily armed officers from Indonesia's crack anti-terror unit Detachment 88 stormed two separate addresses, in Denpasar and in Sanur, on Sunday night where they shot and killed five men.

One more dead of rabies on Bali A 39-year-old Klungkung man, I Wayan Suartawan, has died at Bali’s Sanglah General Hospital of rabies. The man, who was the father of two, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2011, and died the following day. According to the Bali Post, the man was the 18th fatality attributed to rabies in Bali in 2011.

Long delays for Lion Air flights from Singapore It was a normal Wednesday last week and still it seemed that something was completely wrong with Lion Air. After they had received a stern warning from the Department of Transport, the came with so-called 'own' improvements, but the airline does not seem capable of letting their many flights depart on schedule.
