JAKARTA - Indonesian presidential and vice presidential candidates disclosed details of their wealth here on Tuesday as required by the law for their participation in the election scheduled on July 9.
Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto reported his wealth at a total value of Rp1,670,392,580,402 and US$7,503,134. His running mate, Hatta Rajasa, meanwhile reported his wealth at Rp30,234,920,584 and US$75,092.
Presidential candidate Joko Widodos wealth was reported at Rp29,982,946,012 and US$27,633 and his running mate, Jusuf Kallas wealth was reported at Rp465,610,495,057 and US$1,058,564.
Prabowo who is a retired army general and Hatta Rajasa, a former economic minister, are supported by seven political parties following President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyonos Democrat Partys recent declaration to support the pair.
Joko Widodo, or widely known as Jokowi, and Jusuf Kalla, respectively the Jakarta governor and former vice president, are supported by five political parties.
