LEMBATA, EAST NUSA TENGGARA - A crocodile has eaten a ten-year old girl that was playing in a river in Indonesia. This is the second child to be eaten at the same location in the past two months. This according to a spokesperson of the district of Lembata in eastern Indonesia.
The girl was swimming in the Wailolong river in West Timor when a crocodile surfaced. The animal directly swallowed her, causing her to disappear under water. Her father saw the accident happening. Several hours later, the clothes of the girl were found a few hundred meters away.
Early December last year, a 12-year old boy was eaten by a crodocile in the same river. He was playing with friends when he disappeared.
