LIPPO CIKARANG - Indonesia and Singapore have issued a set of stamps together on October 31, 2009. The Indonesian part of the issue contains a mini sheet with eight stamps, four full sheets with stamps, a first day cover with one set of stamps and a special presentation pack. On the stamps are images of well-known places in Indonesia and Singapore.
The Singa Ambara Raja statue is the landmark of Singaraja city in the northern part of Bali. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah or "Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park" is a recreational park with cultural highlights of the grandeur of Indonesia in Jakarta. Merlion, an imaginary creature with a head like a lion and the body that of a fish is a famous icon in Singapore. Sentosa, literally meaning peace and tranquility, is a very popular island resort in Singapore.
