MUNA - In, a 15-year-old, has most likely become the victim of abuse and rape last Monday. Until now she is out of consciousness in the emergency room of the Raha hospital in Southeast Sulawesi. Parts of her body, like her hands and her left foot, show injuries by sharp objects.
The father of the victim told that he felt hurt and did not understand why people would do such a thing against a child. "It's a real crime," said La Neka (37) which is an ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver. According to him, his daughter left from house around 16:00 local time on Monday. She was heading for the swimming pool. She arrived home around 23:00, completely exhausted.
"When she arrived home, I just heard a sound of someone in pain. She said that she was going to die," said the father which found out his own daughter was screaming for help. The crime has been reported to the police, but they don't have much clues and could not question the young girl, because she was still unconscious. Two people which are possibly involved are currently being watched by the police.
A teacher of the SMA Negeri 1 school in Raha, Arfi, said that there were no swimming lessons on Monday. The only activity on Monday is a pencak silat training. A close friend of In, Siti Rahma, told that she was told the same by her friend. She also told there were no swimming lessons, but no reply was given. The police is trying to trace the numbers that were called around the time the girl left home.
