PADANG - Several villages have been wiped off the map after quake-triggered landslides covered up three or four entire villages in the hills and mountains on the western coast of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia, which has been hit hard by last weeks 7.6 magnitude earthquake just 45 kilometers away from the city of Padang. Over 600 bodies have been recovered, but fears are that many thousands more are buried under collapsed buildings and landslides.
