JAKARTA - The Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta is to reopen next month following a renovation that took some 20 months. The luxury hotel and property will now offer 272 rooms and over 1,000 square meters of event space. The space for meetings and the banquet will have space for up to 600 guests and the meeting rooms are naturally lit.
The kitchen of the Mandarin Oriental will offer a variety of international cuisine. There are four new restaurants and the Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop will also be opened. The outdoor pool is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. A fitness center inclusive of treatment rooms is among the new leisure facilities of the hotel. The Mandarin Oriental opened it's doors for the first time in 1978.
