LIPPO CIKARANG - After last nights anti-terrorist raid by Densus 88, it is now speculating on who were among the three or four people killed in the gunfight and explosions in a house in a village near the city of Solo in Central Java. Some media already reported that they know for sure that Noordin M. Top has been killed this time and a member of parliament also said the same.
The only problem about these 'facts' is that the head of the Indonesian police, Bambang Hendarsono Danuri, did not make any public statements about what exactly happened during the raid that lasted all night until early this morning. Bambang has just rounded of a meeting with president Yudhoyono earlier this afternoon however, fueling speculations on which terrorist was killed this time.
When Bambang was asked what took place in the regency of Surakarta, he just smiled and gave two thumbs to the press on the scene. He did not elaborate any further shortly after the meeting. The General of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Djoko Santoso, has been to the National Police Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta to take a look at the bodies that were brought in earlier today.
