JAKARTA - That terrorists are strange people might be nothing new to you, but the hype of denial is reaching new hights every single day. Fortunately for PKS member of parliament Anugerah, he was forgotten instantly when it became clear that the child of a former member of the Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia ('Mujahidin Council Indonesia', MMI) is wanted because of his involvement to last months suicide bomb attacks in Jakarta.
To make things funny, Abu Jibril, the dad of Mohamad Jibril, point blank denies that his child was involved in terrorism in Indonesia. He already knew why his son was named as a suspect by the police, he was simply kidnapped in the middle of the road at one point. "He was taken by preman (hoodlums), but I don't know whether they were police or real ones," he said.
Abu Jibril has been picked up from his office by anti-terrorist unit Densus 88 for further investigation. The guy wearing a sorban (headscarf) and jubah (long dress) and holding a gun in his hand on the picture below has three lawyers. Innocent or not, how strange is it that the son of a former (?) member of the Muhajidin Council in Indonesia (obviously an fundamentalist organization) is pointed at as being terrorist.

Abu Jibril, here still as member of the Muhajidin Council of Indonesia, in complete Islamic robe and holding a gun. He now says that his child has nothing to do with terrorism.

Yes, strange. A big mouth but constantly lying and denying. Where do they really stand for? Is it (I mean the lies and denials) something typically Indonesian (Javanese?), islam or just pure a terrorists way?
