BOGOR - A house that is located in the foothills of Mount Salak, near Bogor, has been burned by residents in the village. The house was burned down because the residents suspected that the house was a hideout place for terrorist leader Noordin M. Top. Villagers said that they have seen a person that has the same face as the the terrorists seen in Cilacap and Temanggung.
"We have seen groups of up to ten people coming to this place here. Among them were two faces that were similar to those seen in Cilacap and Temanggung," said Majen, a local resident. At the time the house was set on fire the residents fled the house and escaped from being captures by the villagers. Earlier today there were still residents at the scene, no police has been to the location thus far.
The negative reaction against terrorists in Indonesia has become more visible in recent weeks. This action comes a few days after a speech of military commander Soetanto who said that Indonesians should be more aware and active in hunting down terrorists by reporting suspicious activities to the local authorities.
