LIPPO CIKARANG - The local police of West Jakarta has arrested 25 people after a brawl in the Stadium Club discotheque in Taman Sari, North Jakarta. All people were searched and a number of weapons like big knives, wooden sticks and bamboo were seized from those arrested. A spokesperson of the police told that they have checked up on 42 people in total. 18 of them were released almost immediately because a lack of evidence that they were involved in the brawl.
This means that local police has entered of of the biggest and most well-known places for obtaining 'illicit narcotics' as the Indonesian government describes it, but they didn't find anything on a single person? It's not only hard to believe, it's virtually impossible. Drugs there are as normal as ordering a glass of beer, so why did the police find no drugs at all? Ooh wait, maybe because the owner is said to be related to the Indonesian military?
