Ms. Fadilah should thank Bobie for bringing Mexican flu LIPPO CIKARANG - A planeload full of Australian tourists heading for Bali may have been infected with Mexican Flu - or Swine Flu as the Indonesians still like to call it, showing that pigs are indeed bad. Garuda Indonesia flight 719 on June 19, 2009 was the flight that Bobie Masoner took. She is now on the isolation ward of the Sanglah hospital on Bali because she had contracted Mexican Flu earlier on, but only fell ill on Bali.

Thank God - choose the one you like - that the first case of Mexican Flu was a foreigner, so Ms. Health care Indonesia Siti Fadilah Supari, can blame the upcoming problems on foreigners, just like she did earlier on when Bird Flu entered Indonesia and killed some 200 over a few years time. She was eager to point out that it must have come from outside Indonesia. The virus was - she said - possibly made by humans and spread on purpose.

So, congratulations to Ms. Supari; now she can go on national television blaming foreigners for what is about to happen to Indonesians. Forget about low quality health care, forget that most can not afford to be checked up, forget about the unawareness of medical personnel. Luckily for Indonesia, the Mexican Flu virus is probably not strong enough to survive in the tropical Indonesian climate. Ooh wait, it was Ms. Supari who said that right? Oh my..

It's always those planes full with Aussies that cause trouble. I have to admit that mostly it's because they get drunk like Russians after they have arrived. This is a new type of trouble indeed.
