JAKARTA - The Department of Transport follows the Department of Public Health in preventing swine flu from entering Indonesia. A number of airports and seaports have prepared themselves already according to Bambang S. Ervan, a spokesperson for the department earlier today.
Bambang said that the entry points already had a mechanism to prevent the swine flu from entering Indonesia. "There are already clear procedures from the Department of Public Health," he said. At all entry points are medical teams which will check on swine flu if needed. "Body temperature scans are available at those points." He did not have more details as those instructions came from the Health Department directly.
