JAYAPURA - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Manokwari district in Indonesia's West Papua Province in the early morning of Sunday, Meteorology and Geophysics Agency was quoted by the national Antara News Agency assaying.
The quake struck at 06:56 a.m. Sunday local time (2156 GMT on Saturday), with the epicenter located at 0.46 degrees southern latitude and 132.82 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 61 km, some 145 km northwest of Manokwari. There was no immediate report of casualties or damage.
