BENGKULU - A strong earthquake with the magnitude of 6.1 rocked Bengkulu province of Sumatra Island, Indonesia on Wednesday afternoon, according to Indonesia's meteorology agency. The quake struck at 15:48 p.m. local time (GMT+7) with the epicenter at 67 km southeast Bengkulu town, capital of Bengkulu province and at 31 km under sea bed without potential of tsunami, a text message from the agency said.
