MOJOKERTO - A part of the aid to people who are hit by floods in three sub-districts in the district of Bojonegoro, eastern Java, yesterday caused for some heated discussion, because there is a group of people which doesn't get any help. Based on information from reporters from Metro TV, people in the sub-district of Mojoanyar didn't get aid because they were not listed to receive it. They protested to the government employees at the spot. At the end they were registered and they were given a coupon to get some emergency help.
According to the head of the Office for Social Progress from the local government of Mojokerto, Yuda Setioadi, the information about who was to receive emergency help originated from the local government on the flooded places. Yuda said that the emergency food came from the APBD offices in Bojonegoro and eastern Java. Outside Mojoanyar, the distribution of food also caused for problems in the sub-districts of Mojosari and Bangsal.
