Police miss Bali bomb suspects by hours DENPASAR - Indonesian police said yesterday they came within two hours of apprehending one of two Malaysians considered prime suspects in last weekend's suicide bombings in Bali, after an early-morning raid that marked the latest sign of an accelerating investigation.

A senior police official said investigators raided the central Java village of Purwantoro at about 3am yesterday after receiving a tip that Noordin M. Top, a key member of the al-Qaeda-linked Jemaah Islamiyah, had been hiding there since last Saturday's bombings in Bali.

"We raided the house at around 3am, during early-morning prayers, but according to the neighbours he had left around 1am," Abdjul Madjid, police chief for the Solo region in central Java, said. Together with Azahari bin Husin, a UK-educated engineer, Mr Top has been linked to terrorist attacks in Indonesia since the October 2002 Bali nightclub bombings, which left 202 dead. Mr Azahari is considered to be JI's top bomb-maker. Mr Top is thought to be one of its best logisticians.

The latest Bali investigation appeared to be intensifying, with police also saying they were close to identifying two of the three suicide bombers involved. According to Sidney Jones, an analyst with the International Crisis Group and leading expert on Jemaah Islamiyah, the pair are believed to be at the forefront of a violent faction within JI intent on continuing bombing attacks in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the US offered rewards for the capture of two other JI members. The State Department said it would pay up to $10m (8.2m, 5.6m) "for Dulmatin", an Indonesian thought to have played a key role in the 2002 bombings in Bali. It also said it would pay up to $1m "for Umar Patek". It did not stipulate whether it would pay for the pair's arrest or for their death.

It's an attack for the whole world, not only for Bali (Indonesia). The president SBY must take hard actions to catch those who're guilty for this unhuman actc of terrorism in Indonesia. It's not for the first time that Bali (the Island of Goddes) was attact by terrorist. Indonesia is my birthcountry and I always come home (each year) to see my family, friends. I don't understand why such a beautiful island as Bali is the place that terrorists choose to take their unhuman acctions. I know, terrorist always choose busy touristplaces and Bali is such a beautiful island and that's why they choose to take their actions.

I hope that the world will take hard actions, especially the United States of America and Europe must take actions, and help the people of Indonesia that are now live in such an terrible world.

The terrorist must be taken as soon as possible and give them the deadsentence and nothing else but that.
For alle the family from the victims of this unhuman attacks in Bali (Kuta and Jimbaran) we (incl. my wife and children) them all the love we can give and that God will give his love to the families in Bali and all of the world.

May God bless all the family of the victims of this unhuman acts...
