EINDHOVEN - The Indonesian government has put the price of household oil at Rp 2.000 per liter up from Rp 700, an astonishing 186 per cent, and the price of premium petrol will be raised to Rp 4500 per liter (up from Rp 2400). This is an increase of about 88 per cent. Diesel will be increased from Rp 2.100 to Rp 4.300, an increase of 105 percent.
With this higher prices, the subsidy per liter is down to Rp 800 to Rp 1.000. This was announced just minutes ago by Aburizal Bakrie.
