JAKARTA - Buildings have been damaged and people are in panic on the Indonesian island of Nias in the wake of a massive earthquake, a resident told local Metro TV. "There is much damage. People are running in panic. Many people are also trapped," the resident said by telephone from Nias, which lies near the epicentre of the 8.2 magnitude earthquake off Indonesia's Sumatra island.
