HONG KONG - According to the Hong Kong Observatory, a six-point-two magnitude earthquake has struck near the site of last week's tsunami-inducing quake off Indonesia's coast. The latest tremor was centered in waters about 40 miles west of Banda Aceh, the capital of the Indonesian province devastated by last month's tsunami.
Late Wednesday, a five-point-six magnitude quake hit the same area. It isn't clear if there have been any casualties from the two latest quakes. Several tremors and aftershocks have been reported since the December 26th quake.
