JAKARTA - The Lebaran Transportation Team 2003, decided that on November 21, 2003, or minus 4 days (4 days before Idul Fitri), all means of public passenger and cargo transportation from the East to Pantura (northern coastal route) in W.Java, will have to use the southern route.
The Director General of Regional Resettlement and Infrastructure Hendrianto Notosoegondo said here on Wednesday under the instruction of the Director General of Transportation, as the main coordinator, it was decided to make a one-way traffic system. It will applied on November 21-25 at 00.00 until 24.00 while priority will be given to public transport.
