BANDA ACEH - Maimun Saleh Airport, located near Sabang in the province of Aceh, is open to international flights, Sabang Mayor Sofyan Harun said on Tuesday. "International flights are now able to land at the airport after the Ministry of Transportation granted its permission," Sofyan told Antara. Only domestic flights could previously land at the airport. Sofyan expressed hope that the arrival of international flights would speed up economic growth in the province.
