Just a few days after I had reported myself to the offices of PLN (the state-owned energy company_ two men reported to the house on a Friday afternoon. They were from PLN, at least that is what they said, because they did not bring a company car nor was there any logo on their clothes to prove they were indeed sent by PLN.
Last contact with PLN dated back to July this year. Indeed I was not called back or did I receive information in any other way from them. So until that very moment I did not have a clue about what was going on and how I was able to pay for my monthly electrical bill.
Early July, I headed for the local office of PLN in Lippo Cikarang, located almost besides the local post office, so that was not too difficult to find. I expected it to be a short visit, but that would turn out to be a completely different. My address was not found in the system of the cashier as well and I was not able to pay my bill here as well for the time being.
However I can arrange most things here in Lippo Cikarang at the offices of their own company, there are always a few exceptions - unfortunately. In most cases those exceptions are government companies. The best example is the power supply in this area. Power here in Lippo Cikarang is also supplied by PLN.
