Two killed in landslides Two people were killed when four construction workers were hit by landslide in the village of Sampora, Kuningan, West Java, on Saturday. The four workers were digging the ground to make foundation of a Muslim boarding school when they were suddenly buried alive in the land slide that morning.

Czech president: 'Borobudur greater than Pyramids' The renowned Buddhist temple of Borobudur in Magelang, Central Java, is greater than the Pyramids in Egypt, visiting Czech President Vaclac Klaus said here on Sunday. Garuda wants to grow 80% until 2015 The Indonesian National Flag Carrier Garuda Indonesia is targeting to operate 144 aircraft carrying 29 million passengers by the year 2015. Currently, Garuda flies 81 airplanes with 15.5 million passengers carried in 2011. If Garuda meets its self-proclaimed goals, this will translate into an 80% increase in business in only 3.5 years.
